Chef Hasset, together with his partner Jasyon Carlos, brought to the world the shop that made some of the yummiest-looking and best tasting cakes and pastries we have ever seen (and sank our teeth on), MedChef. As expected, our cravings for sweets that night jolted to somewhere in the heavens when we saw Chef Hasset's creations. Are you guys ready?

Having stayed for a couple of months in Shanghai, the cosmopolitan city of China where Xiao Long Baos are very famous, I have learned the proper technique of eating the best dimsum I have sank my teeth on.

From afar they only look like odd white balls resembling Manila's fish balls or some sort of small dumplings. But wait 'til it touch your taste buds.

The Good Driver

During my first few months on my new job, my boss accompanied me to the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) to look for a venue for an upcoming event. While inside the taxi, I was holding my camera, some documents and a pouch containing my valuables such as mobile phones, cash, ATMs and etc.

When we reached the entrance of the PICC, the guards asked for my ID. I reached for my pouch. But I was only holding my camera and the documents that were in my hands. The pouch (with my phones, cash and IDs) wasn't there. I turned to my boss and asked her if she noticed me holding my black pouch a while ago. I enumerated to her the things that were inside it.  It was nowhere to be found.
