Circles: The Tale of My Best Unlimited Dining Ever

Circles Event Cafe is a piece of heaven for foodies like me. It is located at the lobby level of Makati Shangri-La. And that is where we start this short tale of my best unlimited dining ever.

Let me start this tale with this amazing Lychee Iced Tea that blew my mind. It's a mix-it-yourself iced tea. (Read: You have the upper hand on how sweet your iced tea should be.) So at first the waiter will serve you a plain ordinary tea that is cold. But the magic is with the syrup. You pour the syrup unto the glass and then you mix it well to get the amount of sweetness perfect for your palate. I don't know what's with the syrup but it really smelled good! It captured the fragrant smell of lychee and it ultimately exceeded my expectations for just a simple flavored iced tea that night. Superstar!

And then there are big bowls filled with ingredients for the do-it-yourself Pinoy halo-halo. Look below.

This one stole my attention. Unlimited barbecues!

I don't need to tell you how I drooled when I saw these roasted meats. I'm a big fan of roasted ducks with special Hoisin sauce. It's just plain perfect. Thanks to the Chinese people for inventing this dish!

You like siomai, siopao, buchi and etc.? Feast yourself with these beautiful dim sum! They're all there.

Wanna do your own Shawarma? They have it there too in Circles!

And just in case, in the middle of deciding what to eat, you thought of choosing something healthy, there are a lot of fruits as choices too. They even have Mangosteens there! Look below.

Silky and creamy ice cream. Choose your own toppings. Yum!

Cheese-lover? Real cheeses are here waiting for you. Place it on your bread, salad and practically anywhere you want it to go with.

These salads rocks!

Good heavens! I dunno how to react when I saw these fondue fountains. The chocolate was just so rich and delicious! I love it warm- perfect for dipping marshmallows on it. Hands down. It's perfect. I almost committed gluttony that night.

Cakes! Cakes! Cakes! Circles' Signature Flourless Cake is a must-try.

Screamin' for seafood!

Oh. These sushi's and maki's at Circles are noticeably larger. Love at every bite!

You won't go wrong with any of these desserts.

And also with these Filipino delicacies.

Here's a shot with Master Sushi & Ms. Sushi before I left the heavenly place.

Awesome!
